Humble Beginnings
From its humble beginnings, Elrod has been a family owned business. Elrod (a combination of the names Elaine and Rod) was established in 1958 when Rod Langbell bought his first tandem truck and started working for Bosa Brothers Construction.

Company Equipment
Elrod was incorporated in 1967. The first employees drove company-owned trucks, delivering lumber directly to construction job sites. Eventually Elrod began to use owner operators and rented property to hold customer product.

Company Property
In 1999, Elrod bought 6.5 acres in the Murrayville area of Langley close to #1, ports, the U.S. border and city. Our prime highway frontage, service and fleet quickly filled our location requiring an upgrade to better-serve our customers.

Dry Storage
In 2010 Elrod Cartage relocated to West Abbotsford with level loading docks, warehousing and over 9 acres of paved storage. With an expanded fleet, staff and property we look forward to accommodate all your transportation and warehousing needs.
